We are currently looking for the best Live-In CNA’s/Caregivers for One-On-One Care in Chicagoland and Suburbs

Assignment Location: Chicagoland & Suburbs
Salary: $120.00 /day
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provide personal care
*Bathing
*Grooming, including oral care
*Assist the client with dressing and undressing
*Assist the client with toileting activities
*Assist in feeding the client, if necessary
*Support good skin care to prevent skin breakdown (i.e. turn and re-position client, actively encourage movement)
*Provide client with help walking and transferring
*Observe client’s physical, mental and emotional conditions
*Assist client in the self-administration of medication (medication reminder)
*Perform light housekeeping
*Perform meal preparation and clean up
*Change bed linens and make up the client’s bed
*Maintain an orderly client environment
*Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions
*Provide transport to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping.
*Adhere to established policies, procedures and standards.
*Ensure the right to privacy and dignity while care is being provided
*Ensure the right to confidentiality of their information
*Respond rapidly and appropriately in an emergency situation.
Qualifications:
*Various choices of location and shifts for you to select from
*Must have reliable source of transportation
*Must be able to legally work and undergo license and criminal background check
*Must be prepared to be tested for drugs and fingerprinted
*Must be in the IDPH system
*Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
*Empathy for the needs of the client
*Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
*Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
Required experience:
- Caregiver: 1 year
Languages:
- Tagalog
- Spanish
Required licenses or certifications:
- Drivers License
- CNA
