We all age differently. Some are lucky that, in their sunset years, they manage to keep the strength of their bodies and the sharpness of their minds. They may need assistance, but only minimally. But others are not so lucky, with age-related difficulties worsening as years go by. Some even suffer from chronic illnesses that affect their quality of life. They could no longer live by themselves and need constant in-home care.
Regardless of their situation, we at Innovative Homecare Solutions are here to help. We want seniors to have an Awesome Aging experience. Our team of highly-trained and seasoned care providers are ready to provide 24/7 in-home care.
We offer Alzheimer’s Care and Live-in Care for seniors with special needs.
Alzheimer’s Care
Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia that negatively affects a person’s memory, thinking, and judgement. It is incurable and chronic. It progressively worsens with time. Persons suffering from Alzheimer’s have difficulty with their every day routine, as they become forgetful and disoriented. The care they need increases with the progression of the disease.
One option for care for Alzheimer’s patients is nursing home. But most of the time the stress of moving the senior away from the home and community they’re used to causes them trauma. Persons suffering from Alzheimer’s need constancy in their lives, especially with their homes. And while family members may provide care during the disease’s early- and mid-stages, caring for an Alzheimer’s patient can become stressful and challenging. At its late stage, it would require professional care.
That is why we offer our Alzheimer’s Care service. We aim to restore dignity for seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s with this in-home care. Despite their condition, we want them to have the best quality of life possible—and where better than their own home.
Rest assured that our care providers assigned for Alzheimer’s patients undergo a special training for dementia care. Further, they are supervised by a Registered Nurse, which oversees the patient’s care plan. Our Alzheimer’s In-Home Care service includes:
- Personal care – assistance on hygiene, grooming, bathing, etc.
- Companionship care – meaningful conversations, doing of activities with the care provider
- Memory care – facilitation of mind-stimulating activities
- Nutrition care – preparation and feeding of nutritious meals for the patient
- Socialization assistance – assistance when the patient socializes with family and friends
We could provide a care provider on an hourly basis, or send them to live-in with the patient for 24/7 care, depending on your needs. Our care providers will offer genuine warmth and support for the mental stability of the patient.
Live-in Care
Some seniors require round-the-clock care. The situation varies. The loved one could be recovering from surgery, or they could be suffering from a chronic illness, or perhaps they just want a constant companion. The care may not require professional assistance, but the frequency and disruption it causes brings stress to the family. Or the care may require professional assistance, and in that case family members could no longer handle the situation.
With that, we offer our Live-in Care service. As the name suggests, we send one of our care providers to live with our client. They would provide in-home care and assistance for everyday activities like bathing, toileting, and eating. They could also do light housekeeping and chores, as needed.
The care providers we send for Live-in Care are specifically trained for 24/7 in-home care. However, the law requires for them to get 8 hours of sleep. We will make sure to develop a care plan that suits your needs.
All our care providers are bonded and insured for your safety. Further, we carefully screen all our employees, to make sure that we have trustworthy care providers.
